本作品以水庫淤泥與廢棄瓷粉調配成再生陶土,透過陶瓷3D列印技術製作而成。設計靈感來自對於日常空間冷氣房濕度需調節的需求,藉由陶土的天然吸水與緩慢釋放特性,實現不插電的被動式加濕功能。

This piece is crafted from recycled clay, made by blending reservoir silt with crushed ceramic waste, and shaped using ceramic 3D printing technology. The design is inspired by the need to regulate humidity in air-conditioned indoor spaces.

By utilizing the clay’s natural ability to absorb and slowly release water, it enables a passive humidification process without the need for electricity.

使用方式簡便,只需在裝置背後的儲水槽中加入少量清水,水分便會沿著多孔陶瓷結構緩慢擴散至表面並蒸發,提升室內濕度、減緩乾燥不適。作品同時考慮模組化與美感性,透過排列不同紋理變化的陶片,使裝置兼具視覺裝飾性與功能性,適合應用於居家牆面或商業空間中。

Easy to use—simply add a small amount of water to the rear reservoir. Moisture gradually diffuses through the porous ceramic structure and evaporates, increasing indoor humidity and reducing dryness.

The design also incorporates modularity and aesthetics. By arranging ceramic panels with varied textures, the piece functions as both a visual feature and a practical device, suitable for residential walls or commercial spaces.
